Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist I will ensure accurate and timely data entry of all AP invoices and vendor information in a fast-paced, continually growing environment.

Ensuring all invoices (PO only) are reviewed and processed with 98% accuracy

Setting up Vendor Request forms and maintaining vendors in the accounting system

Ensuring transactions are timely and accurate

Reconciling balances and maintaining records

Responding to vendor or internal inquiries and researching to resolve concerns or discrepancies

Setting the standards for delivering high customer service by leading by example.

Hard Skills/Qualifications

2 - 5 years experience in accounts payable

experience processing purchase order/3 way match

2+ year experience with SOX audit/exposure

must come from a publicly traded organization

Soft Skills

high customer service standards

solid working knowledge of subject matter

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment

Working with the team in AP, the Director of Finance, and the Consolidation Manager
