Description

We are offering an employment opportunity in Irvine, California, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in our finance team, with a focus on managing the full cycle of accounts payable. This includes tasks such as invoice matching, batching, and coding. The position also requires use of NetSuite accounting software and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the full cycle of accounts payable tasks diligently and accurately

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipt reports as part of the validation process

• Perform batch processing of invoices for payments

• Code invoices with appropriate account details for seamless tracking and future references

• Operate the NetSuite accounting software to manage, record, and track transactions

• Efficiently use Excel for various accounting functions and data management

• Ensure all accounts payable records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly documented

• Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries about invoice status

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and take necessary action for overdue accounts

• Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong knowledge of accounting functions

• Ability to perform account coding accurately

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information
