Description

　　Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist with a company in the Manufacturing field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Manufacturing industry. This Accounts Payable Specialist role will be located in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Specialist will match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

　　Produce full-cycle A/P

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Requirements

　　Microsoft Excel experience

　　Proven knowledge of numeric data entry

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
