Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks and expense reports. You will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Specialist is located in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Operate full-cycle A/P

　　Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Requirements - Strong time management and organizational skills

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　High-Volume Invoicing experience desired

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
