  What’s a typical day as an Accounts Payable Clerk ? You’ll be:

  • Responsible for resolving all invoice/payment issues that are preventing or could prevent the on-time payment of vendors

  • Ensuring the correct processing of outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

  • Performing day-to-day reconciliation, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data

  • Tracking and resolving issues brought up by vendors or buyers in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner

  • Working with suppliers to ensure correct submission of data and resolving any discrepancies

  • Verifying and investigating discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements

  This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have proven working experience in accounts payable or invoice reconciliation

  • Have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles

  • Have the proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records

  • Have experience with resolving invoice/payment discrepancies

  • Have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (experience with TAP and/or Basware is a plus)
