Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the service industry. Based in Ringgold, Georgia, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately processing credit applications from customers

• Ensuring the maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Providing support for administrative tasks such as document filing and maintaining electronic files for vendors

• Handling accounts payable for commercial vendors on a daily basis

• Processing weekly check runs and ensuring they are signed and dispatched timely

• Undertaking data entry tasks as required

• Resolving customer inquiries and issues effectively

• Backing up payroll when necessary and ensuring all relevant documents are kept up-to-date

• Assisting with some payroll duties as needed

• Liaising with vendors as needed to ensure accurate invoicing

• Using Microsoft Excel and accounting software to manage and analyze data.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation needed

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Check Runs is required

• Strong Data Entry skills are necessary

• Experience with Invoice Processing is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Previous accounting software experience required
