Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk, based in Webster, New York. This role is within the Social Care/Services industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The selected individual will be tasked with handling account reconciliation, processing check runs, coding invoices, and data entry, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing accounts payable and customer credit applications

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure correct balances

• Managing check runs and coding invoices for appropriate documentation

• Undertaking data entry tasks to maintain comprehensive and accurate customer records

• Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account status

• Ensuring efficient invoice processing to maintain seamless financial operations. Requirements

• Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in executing Check Runs

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices

• Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail

• High level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

• Proficiency in other accounting software will be considered an asset.
