Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Signal Hill, California. This role operates within the construction industry and involves managing financial tasks with precision and efficiency. The selected individual will be tasked with processing accounts payable transactions, reconciling work, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable transactions ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Verify entries and compare system reports with balances for reconciliation of processed work.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures during transaction processing.

• Manage vendor inquiries effectively and reconcile vendor statements.

• Create purchase orders as required and perform monthly reconciliations.

• Maintain a well-organized log of all bills, invoices, and payments.

• Prepare analysis of accounts when necessary.

• Participate in fiscal year-end and quarterly auditing processes.

• Maintain accurate historical records by filing documents physically and electronically.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to resolve discrepancies. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Able to conduct Check Runs

• Knowledge in Coding Invoices

• Skilled in Data Entry

• Familiar with Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• Knowledge of SAP is required
