　　Basic Job Functions:

　　The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for helping build, lead, and develop the Accounting team and will be expected to build solutions for the business and accounting processes for a greenfield startup facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing accounting functions including general ledger, accounts receivable, fixed assets, project accounting, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting, costing files, assisting with annual budget, monthly balancing and inventory management. During construction, responsibilities will include helping manage adherence to the project budget. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

　　Nucor Steel West Virginia is Nucor's new sheet mill with advanced steelmaking capabilities. This is a greenfield project, which is estimated to be fully operational in 2026. The new steel mill will employ 800 full-time teammates producing up to 3 million tons per year at one of the most technologically advanced sheet mills. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV. This is a full-time position located at our offices in Mason County, WV.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or direct related work experience

　　5 to 7 years of accounting experience with an understanding of GAAP

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　CPA and/or MBA preferred

　　Experience developing and implementing ERP business systems

　　Construction budget process experience and Manufacturing experience
