Technical **Sr. Analyst FPandA PeopleSoft System (12+ Months Contract) - Remote in CaliforniaTSG is seeking an experience Technical Sr. Analyst FPandA PeopleSoft System with five (5) years experience supporting the implementation of PeopleSoft Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable modules. Your experience must be on a large-scale project with at least 5,000 system users; including system development cost, planning, design, development, and implementation. Prefer experience in a public-sector project.
Three (3) years of experience leading Agile development activities including sprint planning, documentation of functional specifications and acceptance criteria in User Stories, and planning and leading functional, user acceptance and regression testing. Also, you will have three (3) years experience leading technical troubleshooting and incident management processes.
In this role, you will**
Have knowledge of PeopleSoft or other ERP systems and hands-on with A/P, A/R modules and experience with the key data required for interfacing with General Ledger.Participate in system development cost, planning, design, development, and implementation.lead Agile development activities including sprint planning, documentation of functional specifications and acceptance criteria.Work with User Stories, planning and leading functional, user acceptance and regression testing.Provide insight and recommendations to FPandA management regarding the impact of future technology trends to FPandA's systems.Responsible for internal financial reporting and data accuracyDesign, build, and test automated financial reports and models using various reporting tools.Create technical documentation, including functional and technical requirements, design documents, conceptual diagrams, user guides, and workflow processes.Qualification:
BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience5 - 8+ years of experience as a financial analysis in FPandA role with a public agency.Must have experience with software such as PeopleSoft, Accounts Payable, Receivables modules, MS Access, or similar solutions.Strong experience in building models in MS Excel and an expert using MS AccessExperience working with cross-functional and global teams, flexible and accommodate Pacific Time Zone time differences.Work independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines. Able to challenge the status quo and influence others.
