Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Dallas, Texas. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including processing pension benefit payments, managing full cycle accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records. This opportunity is based in the industry, offering an exciting role that demands a high level of detail and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently handle the calculation, preparation, and input of pension benefit information into the specific software.

• Ensure the timely delivery of monthly pension benefit payments.

• Dispatch pension benefit checks and direct deposit advices to respective recipients.

• Implement authorized changes by members into the pension software.

• Oversee full cycle accounts payable (AP) which includes verifying the accuracy of invoices and obtaining necessary approvals.

• Ensure the accurate recording of invoices and payments in QuickBooks for proper financial tracking.

• Maintain organized AP files for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.

• Generate periodic reports as and when required.

• Utilize accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, for various accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is a must.

• Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with Concur is highly preferred.

• Candidates should have experience with ERP Solutions.

• Proficiency in performing various Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Must have a solid background in handling Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Auditing skills are vital for this role.

• Experience with Billing Functions is highly desired.
