Description

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be part of our team in WATSONVILLE, California. This role entails overseeing our accounting department's daily operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and maintaining adherence to the company's financial policies and procedures. The position will require a high level of proficiency in accounting software systems and a thorough understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ADP - Financial Services.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Use accounting software systems to process financial transactions and maintain accurate records

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for managing and integrating the company's financial data

• Oversee the implementation and use of ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting including tax forms and filings

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting staff to improve financial procedures

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC)

• Ability to manage various Accounting Functions
