What You'll Do:
The Accounting Manager provides guidance and leadership to the Accounting team. This position will partner directly with the Director of Finance to both ensure the smooth daily operation of the business financials as well as assist in developing strategy and vision. The daily tasks of the Accounting Manager will include Accounts Payable/Receivable, transaction reports, payroll, month-end reporting, etc. and the candidate will be expected to have the knowledge and skillset to analyze, process, and reconcile these functions. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail-oriented; punctual and able to adhere to strict deadlines and timelines; and be a strong team player who can both contribute individually as well as help in raising the level of the entire department. This position is located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as described below.

Position starts at $80,000/yr + DOE + Discretionary Annual Bonus
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Performance manage 2-4 direct reports
Set goals and expectations
Provide feedback and identify strengths/weaknesses
Create improvement plans and implement corrective action as necessary
Train and develop accounting staff
Review and approve timecards, time off requests, etc.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in daily functions such as AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliation
Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reports
Analyze reports; identify and rectify and errors or discrepancies
Remain current on industry trends, standards, and compliance requirements
Be the contact and subject matter expert on many operational accounting/finance questions for company departments
What You'll Bring:
3+ years Accounting/Finance work experience - required
2+ years supervisory experience - required
2+ years Hospitality/Resort/HOA industry experience - preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - preferred
Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
