We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager, operating as an independent business entity, to join our team. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.

The Role:

The Accounting Manager will oversee our accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial documents, and provide financial analysis and advice to management. This role is ideal for someone with a CPA license who is registered as a business entity, such as an LLC or sole proprietorship.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:

Month-end and year-end processes

Accounts payable/receivable

Cash receipts

General ledger

Payroll

Treasury

Budgeting

Cash forecasting

Revenue and expenditure variance analysis

Capital assets reconciliations

Trust account statement reconciliations

Check runs

Fixed asset activity

Debt activity

Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements.

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Coordinate and complete annual audits.

Improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.

Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Meet financial accounting objectives.

Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, with a strong track record in financial management and reporting.

Must possess a CPA license and be registered as a business entity suitable for contractual engagements.

Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong aptitude for numbers and quantitative analysis.

Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards, with experience in corporate tax planning.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
