　　Colorado Engineering Experiment Station, Inc. (CEESI) is an ATS Company. CEESI performs NIST traceable primary and secondary calibration for numerous types of flow meters and fluids. In addition to quality calibrations, CEESI offers calibration-related engineering services and valve testing.

　　ROLE

　　The accounting manager will advise on budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting. He or she will also be responsible for managing the accounting team, helping audit and ledger preparation, and supporting managers across teams with financial procedures.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, general ledger, and taxes

　　Management of with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial audit.

　　Assess current practices and procedures, balance sheet reconciliations and make recommendations for improvements.

　　Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

　　Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

　　Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions, including but not limited to month end close process.

　　Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

　　Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics. CMA,CPA or MA /MBA preferred.

　　5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role

　　Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP

　　Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization

　　Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results

　　Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques

　　Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.

　　Pay Range

　　$90,000 -$110,000 annual

　　Starting pay may vary based on factors including , but not limited to, position offered, experience and location.
