Description This Accounting Manager position is with a Financial Services company that encourages your efforts and rewards your results. An Accounting Manager with a commitment to results and efficiency will be an ideal fit for an expanding software company. In charge of daily operations, the Accounting Manager handles ledger entries and reconciliations, the general ledger system, financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, regulatory reporting, and additional duties as required. Ideally, this role will establish and scale the company's accounting and finance operations. This company is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is known for valuing their employees and rewarding their results. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures

　　Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines

　　Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes

　　Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

　　Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook Requirements - CPA or MBA preferred

　　Recent relevant financial experience

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

　　Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

　　Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

　　Statutory Accounting experience

　　Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
