Basic Job Functions:
The Accounting Lead is a key member of the finance/accounting leadership team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing, and approving all accounting functions including general ledger, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, intercompany balancing, bank reconciliations, and recording and timely reporting of accounting records/transactions, etc.
This position will also take a lead role in the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and financial policies, control, and system improvements; supervision of external and internal audit processes and ensuring that proper internal controls are maintained; and providing analytical support to other departments as it relates to accounting issues and driving continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the business.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or direct related work experience
5-10 years of accounting experience
Intermediate Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience
CPA
Advanced degree
Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP system
Manufacturing accounting experience
