　　We have exciting opportunities for a Senior Software Engineer [Ada] to join the Surveillance and Targeting Systems (STS) Engineering Team! As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, implement software, test, and support system integration of mission critical solutions.

　　The ideal candidate’s duties will include:

　　Design, implement, code, test, document, optimize and support systems integration in support of mission critical advanced surveillance and targeting system solutions.

　　Getting involved from requirements development to flow down process across design, code, integration, and test of software into a large software baseline and large systems.

　　Work occasional overtime to support critical program events.

　　Willing to travel < 10% of the time to support

　　Obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

　　Work onsite at McKinney, TX

　　Basic Qualifications include:

　　Minimum 5 years experience supporting and developing real-time embedded software.

　　Experience with C/C++ and Ada or similar

　　Experience using a RTOS

　　Experience in multiple phases of software lifecycle, including software implementation and system integration.

　　Experience in Continuous Integration, and Test Driven Development Methodologies

　　Education: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant software development experience

　　Clearance and Citizenship Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

　　Must be able to work onsite at McKinney, TX.

　　The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
