Description

We are in search for a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team in the retail industry, based in White Plains, New York. You will be tasked with the responsibility of managing customer accounts, reconciling statements, and processing account uploads. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise

• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions when needed

• Execute account reconciliations precisely

• Carry out data entry tasks efficiently

• Handle invoice processing tasks

• Perform uploads to accounts accurately and timely.

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential for this role

• Mastery of accounts payable (AP) procedures is required

• Strong data entry skills are necessary for successful job performance

• Experience with invoice processing is mandatory for this position
