Accounting Clerk duties will vary by engagement, but can include:
Matching invoices to purchase orders and vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
Support Accounts Payable: Matching, coding, entering invoices, check runs, vendor maintenance
Support Accounts Receivable: billing, apply cash receipts, help with collection of past due balances
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Other projects as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of internship or work experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll or billing
Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required
Accounting experience in software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Yardi -2 minimum
Fast and accurate data entry plus MS Excel – Vlookups, Pivot Tables
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
Passionate about doing a variety of projects!
