Description Robert Half has an open position for an Accounting Clerk to work in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment based in the Midland, Texas area. Do you enjoy being part of a team-oriented environment? 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

　　Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

　　Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Work with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit

　　Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes Requirements - General familiarity with Analyze Revenues

　　Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel

　　Perform Data Entry experience

　　High-Volume Data Entry experience

　　Deep understanding of numeric data entry

　　Command of Computer Data Entry

　　Quality experience with Analyze Business Requirements

　　Proven knowledge of account analysis

　　Practical knowledge of Analyze Financial Statements

　　Data entry experience desired

　　Wide ranging experience with Joint Interest Billing (JIB)

　　Well-founded grasp of analysis

　　Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
