Description Are you seeking employment at a well-respected organization as an Accounting Clerk? Robert Half has an open position for an Accounting Clerk to support the daily operations of a department. The Accounting Clerk obligations will consist of matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary employment based in the Dalworthington Gardens, Texas area.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit

　　Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

　　Categorize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

　　Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a wide collection of sources

　　Transmit financial information to journals and ledgers Requirements - QuickBooks experience

　　Deep understanding of data entry

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
