PMM Director - Small Business Suite
Job Description:
The Run the Business PMM Director for Small Business Suite is a senior leadership position with significant influence and accountability. This leader has responsibility for delivering all Product Marketing (PMM) activities and outcomes for the Small Business Suite in North America, across Direct and Indirect routes to market.
The single, critical aspect of this role is developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customers, accountants, market dynamics/trends and competitors; then leveraging these insights to build Sage's growth strategy for the Small Business Suite, driving the GTM, delivering the value proposition, and ensuring commercial success.
Collaboration is at the heart of the leader’s responsibilities. They establish robust, positive and healthy working relationships with go-to-market (GTM) leaders, acting as a source of inspiration by evangelising the growth strategy, fostering confidence, belief, and excitement. Together with these GTM leaders, this role architects a detailed, robust and dynamic growth plan (updated quarterly and in perfect alignment with the growth strategy) that clearly articulates how commercial goals over the next twelve months will be achieved. Taking a hands-on approach, this role then leads the execution of the growth plan for the Small Business Suite, orchestrating impactful product launches, updates to value propositions, cut through messaging, simple customer journeys/experiences and campaign initiatives. Furthermore, the leader immerses themselves in the operational rhythm of the business, providing vital support to GTM leaders to enhance performance and ensure the attainment of collective annual recurring revenue (£ARR), growth, and margin goals.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
• Be responsible for delivering all PMM activities and outcomes for the Small Business Suite in Canada.
• Understand customers, market, competition and performance and build the growth strategy driving the GTM.
• Be accountable for ensuring the growth strategy is clearly defined then evangelizing across key stakeholders.
• Partner with other PMM/BU colleagues to support the definition, design and build of value propositions.
• Turn the Growth Plan into execution and launches of new/updated products, propositions and campaigns.
• Optimizing in-market propositions through participation in the daily/weekly/monthly trading cycles/meetings; and strong, collaboration with GTM leaders.
• Proactive communication and influence into key stakeholders across the region.
You must have:
• 8 years of experience in Product Marketing and/or growth roles
• Strong knowledge of the market in Canada
• Experience in a customer and commercially led Product Marketing role
This position is hybrid in either our Richmond or Toronto office
