Description

Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organization to identify an experienced Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in handling payroll support, maintaining the flow of transactions, and assisting with the monthly accounting close.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input employee payroll information into ADP

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data entry

• Assist with the end of month close to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Handle monthly billing procedures with precision

• Reconcile bank accounts periodically to ensure financial accuracy

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data

• Assist with reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks

• Handle accounts payable and receivable to maintain financial stability

• Contribute to non-profit accounting procedures and practices.

Requirements

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in using QuickBooks Online

• Familiarity with payroll processing

• Knowledge and experience in Month End Close process

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Non-profit Accounting
