  What you will do:

  As the Accountant III, reporting to the Controller, you will facilitate general ledger month-end close by preparing journal entries in accordance with company policy and GAAP; reconcile inter-company accounts and bank accounts; facilitate monthly reconciliations and analyses of general ledger asset and liability accounts; calculate and track rebates; prepare international VAT/GST returns and state sales and use tax returns, and work on special projects incorporating research/analysis as requested.

  Prepares financial reports to analyze revenues, costs, expenses, transactions, and trends related to financial performance and report results to managmentPrepare for and actively participate in internal and external auditsConduct balance sheet flux analysis, including commentary on material variancesAssist in the preparation of financial reporting packages, taking advantage of opportunities to improve usefulness and efficiencyMaintains fixed asset register and depreciation schedulesWorks closely across all of finance and with other business departmentsHandles Intercompany balancing and reconciliation each close periodComplete ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

  Possess solid working knowledge, along with experience working within the "Accounting standards" (GAAP and IFRS) and internal controlsMeticulous attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skillsDedication to continuous improvementPossess team-building skills and the proven track record of working with a diverse group of peopleAbility to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationshipsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility in scheduling due to business requirements (i.e., month-end close)Ability to work independently with changing priorities; self-motivated; high bias for actionChallenges the status quo; introduces and proactively seeks out new insights and solutions to strengthen our performance

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field requiredMaster's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance or CPA preferredIdeally 3 - 5 years of multifaceted accounting experienceMS Office 365 with advanced knowledge of ExcelInternational tax experience (a plus)Experienced with accounting systems (Hyperion, CODA experience a plus)

  Travel requirements:

  Less than 10% domestic/international travel required.
