ACCOUNTANT CITY NATIONAL ROCHDALE

　　WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

　　This colleague will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and its subsidiary ledger accounts. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.

　　WHAT WILL YOU DO?

　　Maintains the general ledger and its subsidiary ledgers, including analyzing, preparing and posting entries.Assist in preparing financial statement and reports required by the company, its external auditors, its internal auditors, the SEC or other regulatory authorities.Analyze, prepare, and review general ledger journal entries. Responsible for various GL account reconciliations, including accrual, prepaid, suspense, intercompany, other receivables and payables.Ad hoc reporting as required by regulators, examiners, and external auditors.Performs various accounting and control functions including reconciliation for cash from banks, investments, advances, receivables, fixed assets and miscellaneous assets and liabilities.Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of colleagues, both within the Finance Division and throughout the Organization.Completes all required training.Significant involvement (Lead role) in monthly accounting/administrative role for Cadency Account Reconciliation System (assigning risk rating to new accounts, facilitate assignment and grouping of new accounts, addressing reconciliation related accounting questions, prepare monthly analysis of reconciliation results).Process and manage fixed assets system, including additions, deletions, monthly depreciation and reconciliation.Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

　　Must-Have

　　Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 5 years general accounting experience

　　Skills and Knowledge

　　Proficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to build positive relationships within the Finance Division and Key Partners throughout the Organization.Desire to learn about the investment management industry and to grow into more senior finance roles.Highly motivated and analytical with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

　　Compensation

　　Starting base salary: $79,056- $126,277 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
