　　Our finance professionals play an essential role in maintaining a healthy balance sheet at AIG. We deliver significant finance support for the overall enterprise, optimizing operations, funding and capital structure to honor our commitments to our stakeholders. We inform the decisions of AIG executives and comply with regulatory requirements, maintaining financial discipline, transparency, and controls, while providing timely and meaningful information.

　　The Finance function consists of a variety of teams with an array of responsibilities, including FP&A, Controllership, Tax, Accounting, Operations, Sourcing and Procurement, Data Management, Treasury, Real Estate, Investments, Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Assignments and responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the business.

　　About the role:

　　What you need to know:

　　Leads Operational Payment procedures. Provide support as backup when required for Claims Payment procedures.

　　Provide customer services as much as needed regarding accounts payable tasks such as payment status to vendors and others, invoice receipt, request modifications for vendor’s information, and others.

　　Prepare and submit payment request and check requisitions.

　　Assist and review in the completion Customer Set-up forms.

　　Confirm customer setup.

　　Reverse and void payments in alignment with company policies.

　　Assist in reversing check requisitions with errors sent from claims department.

　　Adjust any claim requisition with an accounting difference that creates an error in system.

　　Perform application, printing, and upload of operational payments for entities managed in PR (AIGPR and AIGLAII) and entered in correspondent bank platform.

　　Monitor AP email, print and handle invoices for payment; and fill up AP Invoice Log Report on invoice payment status to identify non received invoices and follow up. Apply Cash Receipts.

　　Provide guidance on complex AP procedures or issues presented.

　　Prepare monthly journal vouchers.

　　Prepare JV regarding Currency Conversion.

　　Monitor record retention digitalization process for cash disbursements and JV's.

　　Additional related duties as assigned.

　　What we’re looking for:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field of study.

　　This role is suitable for candidates with some experience in accounting.

　　Language skill: fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing and conversational).

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

　　Analytical skills and detail oriented.

　　Excellent teamwork skills.

　　Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Excel (a must) and Word.
