We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant who can become an integral member of our accounting and finance team.
Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy of electronically and manually captured equipment usage and billable activities data to minimize errors in invoicing.
Validate billing charges by reviewing the client's contract agreement.
Generate pre-billing review reports for clients and internal personnel.
Communicate with clients to reduce invoice payment cycle time.
Reduce time and costs and increase efficiency by sending account receiving invoices electronically.
Maintain and generate billing invoices using the internal billing software.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies with internal and external clients in a professionally manner.
Follow up with clients and provide updates on outstanding billing.
Monitor payments due from clients and promptly contact them with past due payments.
Establish a successful rapport with the sales and operations teams with the company.
Collaborate with other staff members on improving the invoicing process.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
0 – 2 years of direct experience in the field or related area.
Working knowledge of equipment and production materials.
Superior customer service ability and experience working with customers both over the phone and in person.
Ability to speak knowledgeably about department capability and company to potential and existing clients
Highly developed organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining focus.
Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware problems.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees when delegating work and explaining procedures and processes
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and enterprise level accounts receivable reporting
