The Account Executive is responsible to maximize sales growth profitably. Toaccomplish this, (s)he is responsible for regularly representingproducts and services for Shamrock Foods Company on a commission base torestaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishmentsthrough face-to-face interactions.
Essential Duties:
Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer baseMaintain current customer base and grow the share of the customer's businessImpact customer success through:
Supporting customer menu engineeringSupporting food cost analysis to ensure waste reduction and improve customerprofitabilityConsuming and sharing market intelligence and industry trendsConducting product demonstration and comparisons by taking sample product tocustomer's restaurant or facilityFacilitating demonstrations of capabilities we have to support the customer
Share new product innovation through utilization of Shamrock resourcesBuild multi-level relationships in the businesses you serveKeep accounts current; optimizing sales, service, and delivery andcollecting past-due balances from customersLeverage technology for improved customer efficiency and to dr ive customerexperience enhancementsParticipate in on-going training to continuously develop skillsOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus.2 plus years' experience in culinary, restaurant operations,foodservice, or other related experience preferredPrevious successful sales experience a plusCurrent driver licenseDemonstrated expertise in problem solvingComfort using technology; and analyzing customer dataKnowledgeable on industry trendsExpertise in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which maybe subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.

Starting compensation of $40,000-$100,000 per year based onachievement of performance goals, eventually transitioning tocommission-basis.
