Job Summary:
Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) provides flight test engineering, programmatic, and administrative support to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and is the cognizant authority for Test and Evaluation (T&E) with participation in all phases of the air weapon systems life cycle management for manned and unmanned fixed wing, rotary wing, aerial and lighter-than-air vehicles. This position provides access control and security of the flight line and hangars.
Education and Experience: HS Degree or GED equivalent and 3 to 5 years experience of administrative security
Essential Duties:
Control access to the hangars, monitor the flight line and entries to the hangars via camera systems and physical inspection in compliance with Air Force Instruction AFI 31-101, OPNAV INST 5530.14E, OPNAVINST 5530.13D, and ICS 705-1
Provide roving assessment support throughout various squadron compound areas including the unprotected water access at Squadron Hangars. Roving access control support is also required for both AA&E storage and sensitive program space certification.
