SUNY Schenectady County Community College is seeking a full-time Accelerated Study in Associates Programs (ASAP) Executive Director. Under the direction of the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives & Planning, the Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) Executive Director manages all activities related to ASAP and represents the College's ASAP program within and outside the College. Position duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to collaborating with internal and external constituencies to lead the implementation and management of the ASAP program, setting and meeting program metrics, managing data and reporting out on program performance. The ASAP Executive Director is a professional (unrepresented), full-time, 12-month, grant-funded position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements procedures consistent with the ASAP replication effort, including collaborating with other College units, to meet the program's mission
Administers a comprehensive portfolio of services and assesses the various components of the ASAP program to support student success
Responsible for collecting, tracking, reporting, and analyzing outcome data and managing student progress to achieve program metrics
Responsible for ASAP budget management and control
Development of the annual plan and programming to meet the program mission in collaboration with other College departments
Responsible for ASAP student program recruitment and the ASAP summer enrichment program
Collaborates with units across campus (e.g., deans, faculty, Registrar's Office, and advising) to develop a block schedule for ASAP students
Responsible, in collaboration with the VP for Strategic Initiatives & Planning, for establishing program metrics
Collaborates with the Office of Marketing and Public Relations to support the program's web page presence and other efforts to support and promote the program
Develops, implements, and assesses strategies to improve ASAP student performance and retention
Evaluates program services and develops interventions to support at-risk students
Completes required reporting to internal and external constituencies, including SUNY System, associated with the ASAP program
Develop linkages to community organizations to facilitate student access to resources as well as program recruitment and community awareness
Establishes and maintains relationships across campus to support inclusive, student focused ASAP recruitment, advisement, tutoring, and financial aid processes
Travels as necessary for training, conferences, etc.
Works nights and weekends, as needed
Supervises the ASAP Counselor/Advisor
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Valid driver's license
Experience working with members of underrepresented populations
At least three (3) years of experience working in secondary or post-secondary education directly related to the positions' duties and responsibilities
Experience with budget development, management, and control
Leadership experience
Expertise in using Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
Strong understanding of the needs and challenges facing students from diverse backgrounds and the ability to establish inclusive working relationships with students and peers
Experience with Banner, DegreeWorks, Starfish, and College Scheduler
Special Information:
This is a grant-funded position

Additional Information:
Salary: $70,000
