As A2R CR Accountant, you’ll help find new, innovative ways to control sales and operating expenses. The team is heavily focused on transformation, so there will be lots of opportunities for you to improve processes and implement best-in-class ways of working.

Main responsibilities

Assets Management

Tax and Interco accounting

Treasury accounting

GL accounts closing and reporting

Deliver GL monthly closing reporting services and perform monthly closing activities as per group timetable

Prepare management, tax, legal, and statutory reporting at Group and country levels

Address operational issues, deliver operational KPIs, and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines

About you

Expected skills and experience

Graduate degree in accounting or finance (essential)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel (essential)

Fluent in English (essential)

Understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs (essential)

Broad understanding of GL Accounting, monthly closure and reporting activities (essential)

Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner (essential)

Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end to end mindset (essential)

Organized and structured to execute tasks as per deadlines (essential)

Knowledge of other European languages (advantageous)

First hands on experience in a GL accounting role (advantageous)

Computer literate and familiar with accounting applications, as e.g. SAP FICO (advantageous)
