Title: Press Operator CPosition Objective: Print/Operate in a safe and efficient manner so as to be a productive, while maintaining high quality.Qualifications:* High school graduate or equivalent.* Good oral and written communication skills.* Available for overtime.* Must have mechanical aptitude.* Available to train on different machinery and sets of lines within the department.* Must be able to discern between various color shades.Job Responsibilities:* Safety - complies with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and department including the use of personal protective equipment.* Must maintain good housekeeping in their assigned areas.* Must show the ability learn how to properly lace-up the equipment they have been assigned to.* Must show the ability to learn all future tasks of the job, and show continuous improvement throughout training process.* Must be able to identify and use basic hand tools.* Must show the ability to do basic math. This is to include: adding, subtraction, division and multiplication.* Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16".* Must be able to locate all E-stops on the machine on which they are being trained on, and must show how to activate all those E-stops.* Must show a basic understanding of P.H. and viscosity.* Must be able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.* Must demonstrate active participation in Company's Stretching Program.
