Description We are looking for a meticulous Business Analyst to join our team in the Restaurants Catering industry, located in Torrance, California. As a Business Analyst, your primary role will be to scrutinize and interpret data, create detailed reports, and provide valuable insights to support informed business decisions. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions that align with business needs

• Analyze data trends and patterns to uncover opportunities for business improvement

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather reporting requirements

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data in the reports generated

• Support in creating dashboards and visualizations for simplified data interpretation

• Conduct analyses and generate reports that support financial planning and quarterly review processes

• Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures

• Support the budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plan processes

• Implement and work with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports

• Create new planning models for effective forecasting and provide analytical insights into the business

• Communicate frequently with executive leadership to drive strategy forward and achieve planned targets

• Perform financial report analysis before the monthly closing process is finalized by the accounting team

• Prepare periodic forecasting and gap analysis compared to actual results to meet bottom-line expectations

• Prepare aesthetically pleasing presentations for leadership

• Support the executive business team with requests to meet their needs for finance-related work

• Create ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested to meet business needs Requirements

• Proficient with Atlassian Jira

• Experience with CRM systems

• Familiar with database management

• Knowledgeable in EO/IR systems

• Ability to perform Gap Analysis

• Experience with AB Testing

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of Business Process Functions

• Ability to create Business Requirement Document

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Background in the Restaurants Catering industry is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
