What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is currently looking for an experienced 508 Compliance Tester who will be responsible for the 508-compliance testing, usability testing, and quality testing for CBP web-based products and content to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! As the 508 Compliance Tester, you will be part of a high-performing Test team working with customer product managers to support existing web application and web re-design efforts. More About the Role:
Performs Section 508 compliance tests on web products and content (e.g. PDFs)
Performs Section 508 compliance tests on mobile (iOS and Android) devices
Follows test procedures, performing accessibility audits based on Section 508 compliance standards, documenting detailed findings on non-compliance issues, and recommending potential solutions.
Executes test scripts for testing of website design, functionality, content, and related testing specifications for efficiency and immediate alerts of failure in quality
Works collaboratively with leads, developers, project managers, and graphics teams
Attains DHS accessibility training including DHS Trusted Tester accreditation to ensure websites and products are tested and validated as accessibility compliant according to Section 508 standards
Ensures websites and devices are compliant with DHS mandates, policies, and guidelines such as adhering to Section 508 Accessibility laws, IT regulations, complying with standard operating procedures and program processes as determined by leadership, etc.
Maintains DHS required 508 certifications as a Trusted Tester
Brings a collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Will consider professional experience in lieu of degree
Three (3) or more years in an IT related field analyzing, designing, and implementing software test solutions
Proficient using an assistive technology such as JAWS for Section 508 compliance screen reading
Proficient with Accessibility testing tools such as Accessible Name & Description Inspector (ANDI), Accessibility Insights, or Axe Dev Tools.
1 or more years of experience testing for 508 accessibility compliance
Demonstrated skill with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Able to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose solutions
DHS Trusted Tester Certification version 5 or higher
Must pass a CBP Background Investigation (U.S. Citizenship required)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Ability to read HTML code through the browser inspection tool
Familiar with Jira and Confluence tools
Familiar with test tools such as Xray or other test management tools
Strong initiative to proactively establishing relationships, finding opportunities to innovate and improve value, as well as providing new ideas for improvement
Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $57,500-$117,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
