　　Education and Experience

　　A bachelor’s degree in science, English, and math education or a related field is required

　　3+ years teaching experience required

　　Demonstrated classroom management skills

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　Personal warmth and friendliness

　　An attitude that exemplifies teamwork and personal responsibility

　　Ability to include technology elements into all aspects of instruction

　　Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters

　　Professional and Personal Qualifications

　　Demonstrate enthusiasm for work with all school constituencies

　　Communicate (orally and in writing) effectively with all school constituencies

　　Duties/Responsibilities

　　Report to Director of Middle School

　　Teach three (6th grade) sections of Earth & Space Science and direct/support a plus one (co-curricular)

　　Teach one section of another class.

　　Actively participate in the extracurricular life of the School as a coach and/or club supervisor

　　Serve as Advisor

　　Additional duties as deemed necessary by the School

　　The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401(k).
