Tyndale, a 7x Top Workplace winner and proud women owned business, has an opportunity for a full time Embellishments Supervisor to oversee our 2nd Shift production and team in our Bucks County, PA location Monday-Friday 2:30-11:00pm.
The Embellishments Supervisor will collaboratively manage Embroidery, Trimming, Heat Transfer, and Sewing day to day operations to ensure all logo items are prepared accurately and timely to meet customer requirements. Strong communication skills and previous production experience coupled with a strong attention to detail make for a successful addition to our Embellishments leadership team.

Daily Responsibilities:
Hire, onboard, train, coach, develop, motivate, and provide regular performance feedback to all embellishments department staff members;Conduct work-flow planning and allocate work to department staff to maximize department efficiency and ensure customer service levels are met or surpassed;Assign work schedule for all department staff to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained within all areas of the department.Oversee all facets of production including but not limited to: hooping, embroidery machine operation, trimming/finishing, heat transfer, sewing, and screen printing to ensure accuracy and quick fulfillment of every order;Develop, maintain and oversee departmental quality assurance procedures to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the logo/embellishment that is being produced. Collaborate with managers of other departments to resolve issues;Determine any overflow outsourcing needs, and coordinate process, as needed.Periodic Responsibilities:
Actively participate in Company meetings, as requiredSchedule regular maintenance of machines to ensure optimal operation, and request special maintenance, as necessaryEstablish and communicate performance goals for all positions within the department; provide regular ongoing performance feedback and coaching for all department employees; write and deliver Interim and Annual Performance Reviews. Motivate staff to achieve optimal performance and to maintain employee moraleOrient and train employees new to the department in all required work activities, departmental and Company processes and procedures. Develop existing employees in new work activities, as appropriate.Approve scheduled PTO, ensuring an adequate number of staff to meet work deadlines and requirements; track attendance of department staff and provide appropriate feedback and disciplinary action, when required.Review and approve timesheets for accuracy and adherence to company policies.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required;Prior experience in a production environment preferred; experience in a machine embroidery department with prior experience operating industrial Tajima Embroidery Machines, SWF Machines, and sewing machines preferred but not required;Proficiency in MS Office required; prior experience with MAS 500 or other ERP system preferred;Experience with Pulse software or Photoshop preferred;Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving ability;Proven track record of training, coaching, motivating and mentoring staff;Strong conflict resolution and change management competency;Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency;Proven ability to collaborate;Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.Benefits:
