Job Summary:
Seeking a fellowship trained cardiac electrophysiologist to join a well-established and highly respected large cardiology group consisting of all cardiology specialties for Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Qualified Candidates:
Board eligible or board certified in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology
Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
Incoming physician will join a group of 8 EPs within the practice

Procedures Performed:
Diagnostic electrophysiology studies
Pacemaker implantation - Management and Extraction
ICD implantation – management and extraction
Biventricular pacing for patients with congestive heart failure
Comprehensive cardiac ablation therapy for all tachyarrhythmias
3-D mapping of complex arrhythmias
Catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation
Convergent (hybrid) Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation
Robotic assist4ed ablation

466-acute bed hospital with a Level I trauma provisional accreditation
135-bed inpatient acute psychiatric hospital for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric admissions
50-bed ER
