You will have opportunities to get involved in significant projects throughout the United States. These projects may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.What we can offer youMeaningful Projects and WorkMentorshipProfessional DevelopmentNetworking and CollaborationA Day in the Life of a Construction Management Intern:Participating in field work (field verification of existing conditions, confirming as-built conditions, written and photographic summary of field work)Preparing technical reports and calculationsCompiling documentationAssisting with the preparation and interpretation of plans and specificationsInteracting with clients, designers, owners, contractors, inspectors, and authorities to support project activitiesMonitoring project communications between contractor, Owner, and EngineerAttending construction and related project meetings and developing and distributing timely meeting agendas and minutes.Receiving mentorship and advisingQualifications:Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related fieldGIS or CAD experience preferredValid U.S driver's licenseCompletion of one year of qualified studyPay rate for this position is anticipated to be $20 to $25 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.As an employee-owned firm, Kennedy Jenks offers a unique company culture with a corporate commitment to maintaining a positive work/life experience with a flexible hybrid work environment.
