Prudentials Group Insurance business manufactures and distributes a full range of group life, long-term and short-term group disability, supplemental health and group corporate, bank and trust owned life insurance in the U.S., primarily to institutional clients for use in connection with employee and membership benefits plans. Group Insurance also sells accidental death and dismemberment and other ancillary coverages and provides plan administrative services in connection with its insurance coverages. The Group Insurance business is undergoing a transformation which includes expanding product offerings and driving sustainable, profitable growth.
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become part of the Group Insurance Operations organization leadership team as the Client Onboarding & Administration Lead. This role will report to the Head of Group Insurance Operations and will establish a strategic roadmap and vision for Group Insurances Client Onboarding & Administration organization, inclusive of Implementation, Contracts, Billing, Medical Underwriting and Record Keeping. Additionally, this individual will be expected to foster a culture and mindset where everyone feels ownership for the success of the business and creating a positive customer experience.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Own the end-to-end Client Onboarding & Administration operating model, with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance and streamline the processes of key client moments, inclusive of client onboarding, contract generation, billing, record keeping services, medical underwriting, and oversight of Prudentials GUL/GVUL operations.
Partner closely with Distribution, Product, Client Data, Claims and Customer Excellence organizations within Group Insurance to ensure customer expectations are achieved.
Oversee Voluntary Benefit relationship with Accenture and TPA partners. Primary point of contact in Operations for Voluntary Benefit subject matter expertise and escalations.
Manage relationship and execution with strategic vendor partnerships that perform work activities on Prudentials behalf.
Drive significant change in the way deliverables are managed while continuing to ensure exceptional service and optimal operational efficiency.
What youll need:
Firm knowledge of Prudentials group products, services, and systems.
Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of transforming processes and experiences, and a passionate and demonstrated talent mindset.
Adept at articulating a vision, providing associates with a sense of purpose, and driving a strong organizational climate.
Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to solve complex problems and improve quality and service
Strong communication skills including the ability to interface, influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the enterprise. Able to work across businesses to gain buy-in and build partnerships to achieve objectives.
Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking skills, along with strong business and operational acumen and analytical capabilities. Proven success in process excellence, continuous improvement, and project management.
Ability to identify and create solutions that are focused on the customer experience with the ability to think, analyze and design outside in
Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities
Demonstrated success leading multiple teams responsible for Group Insurance Operations experience preferred.
