　　About the Van Driver Position:

　　$18.50/HR

　　Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver.

　　Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Vehicle utilizing Zonar technology, including child checks.

　　Assists students in the loading and unloading process.

　　Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents and students.

　　Attends all safety and training meetings.

　　Conducts emergency evacuation from the vehicle, including exiting from the emergency door.

　　Opens and closes service doors and moves up and down steps multiple times daily.

　　Cleans the insides of the vehicle including sweeping, dusting and cleaning windows. Cleans outside windows of the vehicle.

　　Other specialized functions as required by contract.

　　Van Driver Qualifications:

　　Good verbal communication skills

　　At least 21 years old

　　Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years

　　Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
