The US Record to Report Senior Manager will have responsibility for oversight of accounting and reporting for royalties, co-promotion and collaboration agreements globally including acquisitions and new product launches. This will involve working with stakeholders across the company on financial and accounting processes. The colleague will manage a team of people leaders responsible for responsible for complex accounting and reporting activities surrounding global collaborations and co-promotions and clearly and consistently establish priorities and strategic vision for the team. Manage multiple key controls and heavy interactions with stakeholders across Pfizer. The Senior Manager will also need to have a high-level understanding of Pfizer invoicing and product flows as it relates to revenue recognition as well as statutory reporting and the intercompany invoicing process.

Standard Role Responsibilities
Solve complex problems where previous experience outside of own area may be relevant.Establish operational activities/projects that support mid-term goals and set direction for the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Use communication to help ensure alignment within and outside of Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit; create and deliver presentations to direct reports and other internal stakeholders across Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Manage and lead people, technological, and financial resources at the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit; may lead by influence rather than direct authority.Act as technical/functional expert providing leadership and direction to direct reports and other teams across own and related disciplines.Demonstrate comprehensive industry knowledge and business expertise with an understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements.Set objectives for and manage multiple projects/ongoing work activities of moderate complexity within Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Provide input to senior management decisions that may have an impact on business direction within the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Actively share knowledge with others across multiple Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Units through existing knowledge sharing processes/systems and encourage others to share knowledge across the organization.Identify existing process/product improvements and develop innovative, advanced new concepts that improve processes/products across own and related disciplines.Recognize development needs and identify/create development opportunities (e.g., special assignments) for colleagues within own Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit; develop a talent base and anticipate development needs within the area of responsibility.Manage performance of direct and indirect reports and support Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit objectives through goalsetting, ongoing assessment and coaching, and performance evaluation.Manage teams that execute direction for the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Prepare for and manage change that impacts the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.Act as a team culture champion to instill, encourage, and manage Pfizer culture for all direct and indirect reports and ensure strong team engagement, as measured by Pulse surveys, PLI evaluations, and goal achievement.Lead site/R2R initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in applicable discipline.Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.Practical experience of US GAAP and Statutory Accounting/Experience of other GAAPs.International experience seen as a plus.English proficiency.CPA or international equivalent (ACCA).Management and supervisory experience.Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters or advanced degree preferred.Public accounting experience strongly preferred.SAP & HFM experience strongly preferred.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
