Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Database Engineer to join one of our federal clients in Las Vegas, NV. The group oversees the integrating and maintaining training simulators and their component parts on a daily basis. The main duties of the person are to write new support programs, scripts, and queries, increase the capacity of already-existing data storage, and debug databases to guarantee peak performance. This engineer will keep the several data storage systems running constantly to guarantee the simulator is performing at its best. SQL databases, different terrain databases, and other data storage systems are included. Among the duties will be but are not restricted to:

　　* Keeping an eye on databases and associated systems to guarantee peak performance.

　　* Supporting development teams in creating new database applications that satisfy the data storage requirements of the company.

　　* Creating new scripts, queries, and support tools to enhance data storage capacity.

　　* Producing and assessing user and database reports in addition to system data.

　　* Performing debugging methods on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving problems.

　　* Complying with industry standards for data backup, archiving, and storage.

　　* Recording database design, configuration, and performance procedures.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* Active TS with SCI eligibility

　　* 7- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

　　* Must have ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements.

　　* Must be onsite at job site. Non-remote. null
