About Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

Operate and maintain a safe and clean working environment. Responsible for ensuring daily production objectives are met efficiently and satisfactorily. Assist with set up, operation, adjustments, and troubleshooting of production equipment as needed. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Perform to the requirements detailed in the applicable procedures. Ensure product conforms 100% to customer requirements. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures to establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Other duties as assigned.

This is a fully on-site position in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

2nd shift. 2-10pm
