Job Description:
Utilizes engineering and OEM source documentation to research,develop, publish, and maintain Technical Documentation such asmaintenance procedures, assembly, subassembly, and component-levelconfiguration information, and troubleshooting workflows forIndustrial/Commercial Mail Processing Equipment to include desktopor on-location verification and on-equipment validation tasks withlittle to no support from Subject Matter Expert(s).Identifies contractual noncompliance issues, informationalinaccuracies, and documentation inconsistencies in MaintenanceDocumentation Deliverables such as technical and engineering sourcedata and takes corrective action(s) via detailed correspondence forsubmittal to Customer's Program Office.Works with a small team to research, develop, publish, and maintainTechnical Documentation while adhering to prescribed schedules andbudgets accordingly.Travels within the United States approximately 25% annually tosupport or perform maintenance documentation related tasks andtechnical information collection.Required Skills:
Requiring little to no supervision, performs all TDD II jobdescription duties.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Familiar with System Engineering or Engineering LifecycleManagement.
Proficient with MS Office or other productivity software suites.
Working knowledge of technical and/or engineering documentationdevelopment to include having a baseline level of writingproficiency or ability to apply stylistic writing requirements basedon a set of guidelines.
Possess technical training/education and general working levelknowledge of industrial equipment systems (mechanical, electrical,electromechanical, software, and machine communications).
Desired Skills:
Familiar with graphics and photo editing software suites.
Familiar with CAD editing software suites.
Working knowledge of XML authoring tools such as XMetaL or AdobeFrameMaker.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other workflow managementplatforms.
Familiar with Agile Methodology practices including Scrum Masterduties.
Associates or higher-level degree preferred. Will consider acombination of education, technical / military training,professional certifications, and work experience.
