Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, may develop, write, and edit material for technical sales and marketing documents - including system manuals, operation instructions, reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, etc.
Under general supervision, may observe production, developmental and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail.
Under general supervision, may interview production and engineering personnel to become familiar with product technologies and production methods - including interacting with engineering, Global Product Support (GPS) and Applied Global Services (AGS) to develop and update documentation.
Under general supervision, may study blueprints, sketches, drawings, part lists, specifications, mock ups and product samples to integrate a delineate technology, operating procedure, production sequence and detail. This also includes control tasks to ensure that technical documentation is reviewed on time.
Under general supervision, may review published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods or reproduction and binding.
Drive suppliers to deliver documentation on time.

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain illustrated assembly and test instructions. Work directly with assemblers and engineers to determine document content.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and written communication skills.
Experience writing instructional or procedural documentation.
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in all MS Office applications.
AS degree in related field of study, BS Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Experience with Creo mechanical solid modeling software a big plus.
Experience with Visio a big plus.
Experience with Photoshop a big plus.
Must be able to work in Gloucester and Newburyport facilities.
Work hours to be performed on-site (minimal work-from-home).
Typical Duties:
Work directly with assemblers and manufacturing engineers to determine document content.
Obtain illustrations using digital camera, modeling software, and illustration software.
Revise existing documents to conform to engineering and process changes.
Check own and peer writer documents for accuracy and completeness.
Work with proprietary enterprise data management system to publish or revise documents.

U.S. Salary Range:
$64,000.00 - $88,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
