Emerson a global leader and innovator in the Actuation industry is currently seeking a Technical Training Manager in Houston, TX. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for leading technical training for all value stream products in Actuation Technologies portfolio.
The Technical Training Manager will provide leadership in the development of a core tiered curriculum, delivering product and service training for external and internal customers including channel partners. Additionally the individual selection for this position will use their experience and expertise in developing and launching technical training programs to drive customer & end user engagement, channel capability development and field problem solving.
The primary goals of our are Technical Training team are to develop and launch world class training programs that enable our service partners to solve customer problems, drive channel certification accountability and grow lifecycle training services business.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead and deliver field and product service training for Actuation Technologies to grow training services revenue and customer satisfaction.
Set a clear direction for the field service and channel partner training teams to ensure service capability development, technician certification and in-depth product service knowledge
Manage School of Actuation including delivering foundational and advanced Actuation technical training classes for Hydraulic, Electric and Pneumatic actuation products
Design and development of instructor led and web-based training.
Plan and organize course schedules in accordance with available resources. Prepare resources and equipment required for the delivery of training courses.
Manage assigned training courses and maintain up to date field service & technical training content
Delivers quality training to our diverse group of customers.
Mobilization of training equipment, manage and prepare for shipment Demo equipment to customer sites
Maintain Demo equipment, and keep in working condition.
Additional tasks as required by management.

Bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience developing and delivering training
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
5+ years in technical development and execution.
IACET Certification as a trainer
Experience as Subject Matter Expert in industrial environment
