The Azure Networking team continues to innovate across the network stack, pushing new scale and features into the cloud while transforming our datacenter infrastructure to meet the growing needs 200-plus Microsoft online services, including Bing, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype, OneDrive and several hundred thousand customers using Azure to host and run their Cloud Services in hundreds of datacenters, running millions of servers and edge computing nodes all over the world.

Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for introducing new network technologies and driving infrastructure evolution to meet customer requirements and enable business growth.
You will define performance metrics to track progress and provide directional insights through data analysis.
Working with a diverse group of partners, you will use your judgement and prioritization skills to resolve challenges and find optimal solutions.
Staying up-to-date on network industry trends, you will help develop a roadmap for the next 3-5 years to ensure our network remains competitive and innovative.
You will identify unknown or unmet customer needs across multiple feature areas, clarifying root problems and defining solution options.
You will promote the feature areas the team work on and present at large events to showcase the achievements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Data Center Network Technologies, including a solid understanding of networking protocols, performance, and related technologies.
Problem-solving skills with a ability to address technical challenges effectively.
Leadership abilities and cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with teams from diverse backgrounds.

A track record of making pragmatic business and engineering tradeoffs to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
