Description Robert Half is seeking candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format, for a Desktop Support Technician position with a company in the Non-Profit field. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity based in the Princeton, New Jersey, area.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

　　Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions

　　Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

　　Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

　　Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

　　Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

　　Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures Requirements - Desktop support or related experience

　　Proficiency in customer service

　　Microsoft Windows experience

　　Mac OS experience preferred
