JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Are Hiring:Registered Nurse (RN) - ProHealth CareOconomowoc Memorial Hospital - .5 FTE (Nights) We are seekingcompassionate and professionalstaff members to join the medical,surgical and orthopedic unit at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital! Our secondfloor unit includes an Orthopedic Center for Excellence with a 24 bedunit focusing on for total hip, shoulder and knee replacements patientsand cares for orthopedic fractures. We also serve a small medicalpopulation. Our three south unit includes an 11 bed unit with medicalpatients and general surgical patients. These patients include: sepsis,cardiac, stroke, renal, CHF, COPD, respiratory illnesses. The surgicalpopulation includes appendectomy, small bowel obstructions and variousother surgeries. The Medical Surgical Unit at Oconomowoc MemorialHospital is focused on the needs of the patient and helping one anotherto meet those needs. Our patient management on both units may includetelemetry monitoring, continuous medication infusions, wounds, varietiesof tubes and drains. There are approximately 60 staff members thatinclude experienced and newer staff including, CNA\'s, RN\'s, and UnitClerks. Supported bythe Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, NurseEducator and Operations Coordinator. The Medical Surgical team is deeplycommitted to maintaining the standards of a Healthy Workplace for itsemployees and prides itself in the teamwork between the members of itsprofessional \"family.\" New staff to the team (whether recentlygraduated or experienced) are supported with a thoughtful, structuredand effective orientation. This unit is a fantastic unit to learn andcare for patients.We are prepared to meet the needs of our staff and thecommunity we serve. Shift Details:12 hours shifts from 7:00pm - 07:30amevery third weekend and rotating holidays. What You Will Do: Theclinical nurseis a competent practitioner who integrates theoreticalknowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families.Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practicesare guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses inrecurrent situations.
